BritBox gets its content in a few different ways—some shows are made just for BritBox, while others are licensed from studios and broadcasters.
BritBox Originals
Some shows and films are created specifically for BritBox. These are called BritBox Originals, and you’ll see them labeled as such. A few popular ones include Three Little Birds, Archie, and After The Flood? Since we produce these, they’re only available on BritBox.
Shows and Films We License
We also license British TV shows and films from the BBC, ITV, and other studios. This means we get the rights to stream them for a set period of time. However, licensing rules vary, so some shows might only be available in certain countries or for a limited time.
