Early Access is a BritBox Premier benefit available to subscribers in the United States and Canada. It lets you watch select shows before they're available to Standard subscribers.
Depending on the title, Early Access may be offered in different ways. This means not every series will be available to watch all at once.
- Early Binge: Premier subscribers can watch the entire season before it's released to Standard subscribers.
- Same-Day Binge: Premier subscribers can watch the full season on the series premiere date, while Standard subscribers receive episodes according to the regular release schedule.
How do I know if a title has Early Access?
On supported devices and in the BritBox app, eligible titles are labeled 'Watch Now with Premier' for Premier subscribers.
If you're a Standard subscriber, you'll see a crown icon on select titles, indicating they're available as early access for Premier subscribers. To stream these titles before they're included with your plan, you'll need to upgrade to Premier.
If you try to play one of these titles, you'll see an 'Upgrade to Watch Now' message until it becomes available with your Standard plan.
Why can't I watch the entire series?
Most Early Access titles are available to Premier subscribers as a full season through either Early Binge or Same-Day Binge.
However, some titles follow a scheduled release model. In these cases, new episodes become available according to the release schedule, even for Premier subscribers.
The release model depends on the title, so availability may vary from one series to another.
Please note that release dates and times may vary by title.
