Early Access is a BritBox Premier benefit available to subscribers in the United States and Canada. It lets you watch select shows before they're available to Standard subscribers.
Depending on the title, Early Access may be offered in different ways. This means not every series will be available to watch all at once.
- Early Roll: Premier subscribers can watch new episodes up to two weeks before Standard subscribers. Episodes are still released on a scheduled basis, so the entire series may not be available immediately.
- Early Bing: Premier subscribers can watch the entire season before it's released to Standard subscribers.
- Same-Day Binge: Premier subscribers can watch the full season on the same day it premieres, while Standard subscribers receive episodes according to the regular release schedule.
How do I know if a title has Early Access?
On supported devices and in the BritBox app, eligible titles are labeled 'Watch Now with Premier' for Premier subscribers.
If you're a Standard subscriber, you'll see a crown icon on select titles, indicating they're available as early access for Premier subscribers. To stream these titles before they're included with your plan, you'll need to upgrade to Premier.
If you try to play one of these titles, you'll see an 'Upgrade to Watch Now' message until it becomes available with your Standard plan.
Why can't I watch the entire series?
Not all Early Access titles are released as a full season. Some shows follow the Early Roll model, where new episodes are released on a schedule even for Premier subscribers.
The type of Early Access available depends on the title, so the release schedule may vary from one series to another.
Please note that release dates and times may vary by title.
