The streaming rate on BritBox may vary depending on factors such as your internet usage (e.g., other devices in your household) and the selected video quality.
BritBox streams content at the highest available bandwidth, but we do not offer dynamic bitrate adjustment. This means that unlike some services, our video quality does not automatically adjust based on your internet speed. Dynamic bitrate adjustment typically helps prevent buffering or pixelation when a connection slows and delivers higher quality when the connection improves.
Since BritBox doesn’t include this feature, users with older devices or lower-bandwidth internet connections may experience buffering or interruptions in playback.
