- High definition (HD) 720p: 20 Mbps
- Full high definition (FHD) 1080p: 20-25 Mbps
- *4K/Ultra high definition (UHD) 4K: 25+ Mbps
These are recommended internet speeds for a smooth streaming experience. Actual performance may vary depending on your Wi-Fi signal strength, network conditions, and the number of devices connected to your network.
BritBox automatically adjusts video quality based on your available internet speed. If your connection slows, video quality may temporarily decrease to help maintain uninterrupted playback. Once your connection improves, video quality will automatically increase.
BritBox offers 4K UHD in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. In the United States and Canada, we offer 4K UHD to our Premier subscribers.
However only some titles are available in this format. Rest assured, we’re continuing to expand our UHD library over time.
