If you're troubleshooting an issue with the BritBox app, uninstalling and reinstalling it can often help resolve the problem. The steps to uninstall the app depend on the operating system your Hisense TV uses.
Hisense VIDAA Smart TV
- Press the 'Home' button on your remote
- Navigate to the BritBox app
- Press and hold the 'OK' button for 2–3 seconds
- Highlight 'Remove' or 'Remove app,' then press 'OK'
- Select 'OK' again to confirm
- Reinstall the BritBox app from the VIDAA App Store
Hisense Android TV
- Press the 'Home' button on your remote
- Select the 'Settings' (gear) icon
- Under 'Device' or 'Apps,' select 'See all apps' or 'Manage installed apps'
- Highlight the BritBox app and select 'Uninstall'
- Reinstall the BritBox app from the Google Play Store
Note: You can also uninstall apps through the Google Play Store by selecting your profile icon > Manage apps & games > Free up storage.
