Can I download shows and movies to watch offline?

Downloading content for offline viewing is available if you subscribe through Amazon Prime, Roku Channel, and Apple TV Channels, where those partner platforms are available. 

Or, if you're using the BritBox app on your iPad/iPhone or Android phone/tablet in Australia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark or Norway.

Please note that some downloaded content may remain on your devices for a limited time, and some BritBox titles may be unavailable for download.

Downloading on the iPad, iPhone or Android App

You will see a convenient download button next to episodes and movies while using the BritBox app. Please keep these notes in mind:

• A subscription will have a maximum of five devices allowed for content downloading
• Only ten downloaded episodes/movies will be allowed per subscription across the devices
• Downloaded content will automatically be removed from your 'Downloads' list after 30 days 
• Once you begin watching downloaded content, it will automatically be removed from your 'Downloads' list after 48 hours
• If you travel to a country where BritBox is unavailable, you must be 'offline' to watch the downloaded content
• Select BritBox titles may be unavailable for download
