How do I log into my account?

Here are the sign-in steps for most platforms BritBox is available on:

BritBox Website

When logging in on the web, there are two sign-in options.

Using your Password

  1. Visit https://www.britbox.com
  2. Click ‘Sign In’ in the upper-right corner
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Select ‘Use password’
  5. Enter your password
  6. If your password isn’t working, you can select ‘Use a sign-in code’ as an alternative way to sign in

Note: If you prefer not to use a sign-in code, you can reset your password by clicking ‘Forgot password’ and following the on-screen prompts.

Using a Sign-In Code

  1. Visit https://www.britbox.com
  2. Click ‘Sign In’ in the upper-right corner
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Select ‘Send sign-in code’
  5. Enter the 4-digit code sent to the email address you used to sign in
  6. Click ‘Sign In’
  7. If the code didn’t work or you didn’t receive one, select ‘Resend a code’
  8. If none of the codes work for an unknown reason, select ‘Use password instead’

Note: Your sign-in code is valid for 15 minutes. You can request up to five sign-in codes within one hour. If you reach this limit, sign-in code requests will be temporarily unavailable, and you’ll need to wait until the hour has passed before trying again. Refreshing the page won’t reset this limit, and requesting another sign-in code during this time will show an error.

Mobile & Tablet

  1. Open the BritBox app on your Android/iOS mobile or tablet
  2. Click on 'Sign In' in the upper right corner
  3. Enter your email address and password, then click on 'Sign In'

Android TV

  1. On your Android TV, open the BritBox app
  2. Instructions on how to install a new app are available from Google Support here
  3. Click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  4. Select 'On the Web'
  5. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  6. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  7. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  8. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  9. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Start Watching'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device'
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Apple TV

  1. Open the BritBox app and click on 'Sign In' at the bottom center of the screen
  2. On the next screen, click 'Sign In manually'
  3. Enter your email address and password, then click ‘Sign In’

Elisa Viihde Devices

  1. On your Elisa Viihde Plus or Premium Digibox, open the BritBox app
  2. Click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  3. Select 'On the Web'
  4. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  5. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  6. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  7. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  8. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Fire TV Devices

  1. On your Fire TV, open the BritBox app
  2. Click the 'Start Watching' button
  3. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  4. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  6. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  7. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or 

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Start Watching'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device' 
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Hisense TV

  1. On your Hisense TV, open the BritBox app
  2. Click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  3. Select 'On the Web'
  4. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  5. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  6. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  7. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  8. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click the 'Sign In' button
  2. Select the 'On My TV' sign-in option
  3. Enter your email address and password, then click on 'Sign In'

LG TV

  1. Access the LG Content Store, search for the BritBox app, and install and open it on your LG TV. A short video on LG's Content Store is available from LG here
  2. On your LG TV, open the BritBox app
  3. Click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  4. Select 'On the Web'
  5. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  6. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  7. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  8. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  9. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Start Watching'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device'
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Netrange

On your Netrange device, there are two ways to log in. Here's how:

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  2. Select 'On the Web'
  3. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  4. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  6. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  7. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click the 'Sign In' button
  2. Select the 'On My TV' sign-in option
  3. Enter your email address and password, then click on 'Sign In'

Rogers

  1. On your Rogers, open the BritBox app
  2. Click the 'Start Watching' button
  3. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  4. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  6. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  7. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or 

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Start Watching'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device' 
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Roku

  1. Click 'Sign-In' from the BritBox app home page
  2. On the window titled: 'Use your Roku account email to sign in to BritBox' click 'Use different email'
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Enter your password, and click 'Sign-In'

Samsung TV

  1. On your Samsung TV, open the BritBox app
  2. Instructions on how to install a new app are available from Samsung here
  3. Click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  4. Select 'On the Web'
  5. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  6. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  7. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  8. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  9. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Start Watching'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device'
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Videotron

On your Videotron device, there are two ways to log in. Here's how:

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click the 'Sign In' button (even if you're a new subscriber)
  2. Select 'On the Web'
  3. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  4. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  6. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  7. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click the 'Sign In' button
  2. Select the 'On My TV' sign-in option
  3. Enter your email address and password, then click on 'Sign In'

Vizio TV

  1. On your Vizio TV, open the BritBox app
  2. Click the 'Sign In' button
  3. Visit https://www.britbox.com/activate in a web browser on your desktop or mobile device, whatever's handy
  4. Enter the unique code displayed on your TV and click 'Connect'
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and click 'Continue'
  6. Enter your password, then click 'Sign In'
  7. Once connected, your TV screen will refresh

Or 

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Sign In'
  2. Click 'Sign in on this device' 
  3. Enter your email address and password using your remote, then click 'Sign In'

Xfinity Devices

On your Xfinity Flex, Stream Box, X1, and Xumo TV, there are two ways to log in. Here's how:

  1. Press the 'Xfinity' button on your Voice Remote
  2. Select 'Apps'
  3. Select the BritBox app by pressing 'OK' or the center of the directional pad on your Voice Remote
  4. Opening one of these apps will display a banner noting that you're entering a third-party app, with more information available by pressing the Info (i) button on your Voice Remote
  5. Sign in to your BritBox account with your email address and password
  6. Once connected, your device or TV will refresh

Or

  1. Open the BritBox app, then click 'Sign In'
  2. Select the 'On My TV' sign-in option
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Press the back button on your remote (the onscreen keyboard should disappear)
  5. Press the down arrow button on your remote to move to the 'Password' box
  6. Press the 'OK' button on your remote (the 'OK' button is in the middle of the arrow buttons)
  7. Wait for the onscreen keyboard to appear after pressing 'OK'
  8. Type in your password, then press the back button again
  9. Move down using your remote to 'Sign In' and select it
