If you're having trouble signing in to your BritBox account, don't worry. Most login issues can be resolved with a few simple checks.
Try the steps below in order.
Are you using the correct email address and password?
Make sure:
- You're using the email address you used when creating your BritBox account
- Your password is entered correctly
- Caps Lock isn't turned on
- If your device autofills your password, try entering it manually instead
Did you subscribe through a partner?
If you subscribed through a partner such as:
- Apple TV Channels
- Amazon Prime Video Channels
- The Roku Channel
You may need to sign in through that partner instead of using a BritBox email and password.
Are you using a sign-in code?
If you're signing in with a one-time sign-in code:
- Check your Inbox, Spam, and Junk folders
- Use only the most recent code you received
- Enter the code as soon as possible before it expires
- If you've requested several codes in a short period, wait about an hour before requesting another one. Sign-in codes are valid for 15 minutes, and there is a temporary request limit
Is your BritBox app up to date?
Older versions of the BritBox app can sometimes cause sign-in problems.
Check that:
- You're using the latest version of the BritBox app
- Your device has the latest available software updates installed
If needed, uninstall and reinstall the BritBox app before trying again
Have you tried clearing your browser cache or using a different browser?
If you're signing in on a web browser:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies
- Try using a private/incognito window
If the issue continues, try another supported browser, such as Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
Has your account been temporarily locked?
If you've entered the wrong password several times, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait a little while before trying again, then reset your password if needed.
Are you traveling outside your home country?
If you're traveling, you may not be able to sign in depending on where your account was created and where you're trying to access BritBox.
