To update your payment method, please access our website either through a computer or using a web browser on your phone or tablet. Please be aware that if you use a mobile browser, you may need to adjust your browser settings to avoid being redirected to the app. Learn more here.
Here is how to update:
- Sign in to your account at BritBox.com
- Click on your name in the top right corner
- Click on 'My Account'
- Under 'Plan & Billing'
- Click 'Manage payment method'
- Click 'Change Payment Method'
- Enter your new credit card details
- Click 'Save'
Note: Some mobile devices may automatically loop you back to the BritBox app, which does not support payment management features. In the event this happens, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer to complete your request.
After updating, you may need to log out and back in to see the changes reflected in your account.
You can update the payment method whenever you like, though you'll need to do so at least 24 hours before your subscription is due to renew for the charge to be reflected on the new card.
You can use any of the following credit or debit card types for your subscription or buy a gift subscription.
- American Express
- Bancontact
- Cartes Bancaires
- China UnionPay
- Dankort
- Diners
- Discover
- Elo
- Hipercard
- JCB
- Maestro
- Mastercard
- UATP
- Visa
- Visa Electron
- V Pay
Some cards don't accept recurring payments, such as subscriptions, if you're using a pre-paid card (such as a Visa, Mastercard, or Amex gift card or pre-paid card). This is at the discretion of the card provider. Read more.
If you are located in Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, or Finland, you may only use a credit card issued in the country you are subscribing in.
If you subscribe to BritBox and pay using Amazon, Apple TV, Roku, and Google Play, you must update your credit card on their platforms.
