BritBox to the rescue!
Most billing and subscription management functions, including cancellations, require you to visit our website to process them. If you're using a mobile phone or tablet, including an iPhone and iPad, your device's default web browser may automatically redirect you to the BritBox app.
The simplest solution is to access BritBox.com using a computer. However, if this is not feasible, you can adjust your mobile web browser settings or access the site using an 'incognito' or 'private' browsing mode to prevent redirection.
Android
It's easy to update your settings; here is how on the device:
- Go to the 'Phone Settings'
- Select 'App'
- Locate and Click the 'BritBox' app
- Click the 'Set as Default'
- Turn off 'Open supported links'
Here is how using Google Chrome:
- On your Android phone or tablet
- Open the Chrome app
- To the right of the address bar, tap 'More Settings'
- Tap 'Permissions Pop-ups and redirects'
- Turn off 'Pop-ups and redirects'
Apple
Phone and iPad users are unable to alter their device settings to disable the redirect. However, accessing BritBox.com in 'incognito' or 'private' modes will prevent redirection.
Here is how using Safari:
- On your iPhone or iPad
- Open Safari
- Click the Tabs ()
- Swipe to the 'Private' tab
- A new Private tab will open
- Navigate to BritBox.com
Here is how using Google Chrome:
- On your iPhone or iPad
- Open Google Chrome
- Click 'More' ()
- Click 'New Incognito Tab'
- A new Incognito tab will open
- Navigate to BritBox.com
