To upgrade, please access our website through a computer or a web browser on your phone or tablet.
When you upgrade from a monthly to an annual plan, you’ll be immediately charged a prorated amount (plus applicable taxes) for the remainder of your first year, factoring in the month you've already paid for. This way, you only pay for the remaining time on your new plan.
Here is how to upgrade:
- Sign in to your account at BritBox.com
- Click on your name in the top right corner
- Click on 'My Account'
- Under 'Plan & Billing'
- Click 'Change plan'
- 'Annual Plan' will be automatically checked
- Confirm upgrade by clicking 'Change plan' again
- Your annual subscription will start once your current month ends
Note: Some mobile devices may automatically loop you back to the BritBox app, which does not support the upgrade subscription feature. In the event this happens, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer to complete your request.
If you signed up via Apple, like the BritBox iOS app, go to your Apple account to upgrade. View instructions from Apple.
If you signed up via Google Play or Roku, a direct upgrade from monthly to annual subscription is unavailable. Instead, you must cancel your monthly subscription and re-subscribe to a yearly subscription to make the change. Here are the instructions from Roku or Google.
