You may see a prompt to upgrade to BritBox Premier when trying to watch certain shows or episodes. This typically happens in the following situations:
- You’re attempting to watch a title that is part of our Early Access lineup, which is available earlier to Premier subscribers.
- You’ve reached the last episode of a show that’s available on your plan, and the next episode is only accessible through Early Access.
In these cases, the system may prompt you to upgrade so you can continue watching content that is exclusive to Premier at that time. If you decide to upgrade, you can find the steps here.
If you prefer to stay on your current plan, that’s completely fine. Upgrading to Premier is optional, and there’s no pressure to switch. You’ll still have access to the BritBox catalog (excluding BBC Select), and the remaining episodes you’re watching will continue to be released on your plan’s regular schedule.
