To downgrade to a monthly BritBox subscription, you will first need to cancel your subscription and re-subscribe after the current subscription expires. The steps differ depending on how you subscribed.
Direct Subscriptions:
- Sign in to your account at www.britbox.com
- To open up your account, click on your name in the top right corner
- Click "My Account"
- Choose the 'Subscription' option
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Once your subscription expires on the next renewal date, you can start a new monthly subscription
Apple or iTunes:
If you signed up via iTunes or your Apple account, go to your Apple account to downgrade. View instructions from the Apple Support Page.
Google Play:
If you signed up via Google Play, go to your Google Play account to cancel and re-subscribe. View instructions from Google Support Page.
Roku:
On a Roku device:
- Press the "Home" button on your Roku remote
- Navigate to the BritBox app, be sure it's highlighted
- Press the "Star" button to bring up the options menu

Select "Cancel"
- Once your subscription expires on the next renewal date, you can start a new monthly subscription
Using the Roku website on the web.:
- Sign in to your account at www.my.roku.com
- Click on "Manage subscriptions"
- Locate the BritBox subscription
- Click "Unsubscribe"
- Once your subscription expires on the next renewal date, you can start a new monthly subscription
